Barmby Moor Parish Council

A number of No Cold Calling Zones have been established in the village.  These are Main Street, Sutton Lane, The Laurels, Chapel Street and St. Helen’s Square.

For further information and details of how you can establish a zone in your area please see this leaflet.

The recently erected Captain Mannering play equipment in Barmby Moor was opened by Year 6 children of Barmby Moor C of E Primary School on Wednesday, 20 December 2017 at 10.00 am.

The facility was funded by a £9769 grant from WREN’S FCC Community Action Fund.

WREN is a not-for-profit business that awards grants for community, conservation and heritage projects from funds donated by FCC Environmental through the Landfill Communities Fund.

Mrs. Vivien Cox, Clerk to Barmby Moor Parish Council says “This vital facility is going to make a real difference to those who use it as well as the wider parish community.  We are extremely grateful to WREN for providing funding as we would not have been able to go ahead without its support”.

The Captain Mannering play equipment has been installed by Sovereign Design Play Systems Ltd, and includes two slides, two climbing walls, two towers attached by a bridge and a firemans pole.
